    Are most of the members in or near Little Rock? If so, I recommend Bosco's or someplace else in the downtown area. Or if that's not cool, let's consider Lilly's Dim Sum, owned by Kathy Webb, our first openly lesbian state representative. --Minky

    I live about 40 minutes out of LR. I know that is a pretty central location for a lot of people so I thought we would start there. If anyone is in NW Ark and would like to have a meet up please feel free to start one!! Click over on the top right and side and Start a new Discussion for your area. :)

    Nice, I would think once we get to talking it would be a couple hours. LOL Knowing me I could hang out anywhere for a while if I have good conversation. :)

    Minky, thanks for the ideas! I've never been to either place. Anyone want to second one of those?

    Maybe those of us who want to go out could do so after the meetup! UBU in LR is an awesome place for a lesbian after-party. :) ;)

    I would be interested in meeting others here in Arkansas. I live about 40 miles from Little Rock, but it wouldn't be a problem for me. I think it is a good idea. I have never been to either place, but always love going and finding new places that are great.

    Hey, Sandy here from Diamnond State Rodeo Assoc. We are a gay Rodeo Association and for what it is worth ..we have a clubhouse in SW Little Rock. Be glad to offer it up for meetings. We have a pagent there onthe 27th of Feb but it doesnt start till 8ish. I am all for meeting up at Lillys or whereever and would be glad to spread the word to our many lesbian members. When you firm something up..please let me know...

    Hey women, I'd love to meet. I cna meet that day or most any evening. I will also announce on Queer frontier radio show and podcast.A group of us have been meeting at Pizza Hut on University because the night manager is a lesbian friend of ours-Cindy. Tell cindy hello...she is single. LOL!

    Those who want to help would be very appreciated! That is a great way for people to get to know about the clubhouse too!

    Okay everyone, how does Feb 27th at 5pm at the DSRA Clubhouse in LR sound? We could break into groups of people we liked hanging out with and go to dinner, the clubs or do whatever after too. THis is going to be a great way to make new friends. We need special name atgs for singles who are looking too. ;)

    erryl. I would be glad to have you girls at the clubhouse anytime...but I have to warn you . If you want it on the 27th...a Saturday night.. We have a pagent that night and the place will be decorated and busy. You said you would help put stuff back but ..it would have to stay where is. How bout Sunday??? the 28th..could more people come then??? call me,,,lets talk about this. The clubhouse is still an option for anytime...

    Okie Dokie then. I will put on the schedule that we will be at DSRA, Sunday , Feb 28th at 5ish. Guess I will whup up a snack...so come on girls...We will see you at DSRA, 4525 Hoffman St, LR..at 5ish to meet and greet. Bring your friends...we will turn on the music,,,nice and low of course..lol

    Grey, where are you? There is info about a meetup in NW AR. They are another group and if tha'ts closer I"m sure they would love to have you. If anyone whats to start one in thier area that would be great! Post the info for others in your area. :)

    If you are coming down Highway 30 West towards Texarkana...take exit 165,,,65th Street, bear to the right and continue till you see Patterson St on the right side of road,,,take that and then the left on Hoffman St (past Pepsi). You will see parking lot on left...with blinking lights inthe window...thats DSRA...WELCOME

    I JUST WANTED TO SAY HOW MUCH ANNIE AND I ENJOYED THE MEETING TONIGHT. SO GOOD TO SEE FAMILURE FACES AND MEET NEW PEOPLE. REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO THE NEXT MEETING. I HAVEN'T LAUGHED THAT MUCH IN A LONG TIME.

    Unfortunately, the DSRA clubhouse is closed indefinitely. The not-for-profit clubhouse got caught up in a net that closed down one event-one night venues all over LR. And unfortunately, an event license can't even be applied for for six months.

    Everything has been placed into storage, but the DSRA board is endeavoring to find places for upcoming events to happen. check out the www.dsra.org website for updated information.

    And, by the way, if anyone knows of a building anywhere in the county (OUTSIDE of the city limits) or somewhere close by where the clubhouse could be relocated, go to the website & make contact with Sandy Bidwell, clubhouse manager.
